The Annie & Cole Show on HANK FM

Annie & Cole are the morning hosts for the Indianapolis radio station HANK FM. They needed a logo for their show that represented two things: todays top country hits, and the sunrise that happens during the duration of their show (weekdays mornings from 6 AM – 10 AM).

Ideation

I used a thin, rustic type to give the logo a modern country look. I created a half risen sun motif in order to draw on the fact it was the morning show. In the sun, I used a gutair silhouette in order to create negative space within the shape.
